Audio Recorder

Quickly capture the master output or an input source to an audio file.

The audio recorder captures audio to a file without leaving your session — handy for grabbing ideas or bouncing a mix. It can record the master output (the full stereo mix) or an input source such as a microphone or line-in, and start either from the current position or from the beginning (Cmd + R).

Recordings are kept in a library where you can name them, and they can be brought back in as sampler sources. To record audio onto a track in the timeline instead, see Audio Tracks.

Brief note for now — this page will expand with the recorder’s options.
